Information you provide

Depending on the features you use, we may collect:

• Phone number.
• Email address.
• Display name or nickname.
• Contacts that you explicitly select and choose to share.
• Account and transaction records you create within the Application.

Information collected automatically

When you use the Application, we may automatically collect:

• Your device's Internet Protocol address.
• Pages or screens visited in the Application.
• The date and time of use.
• Time spent on particular screens or within the Application.
• Your device operating system and version.

We use information to operate and improve Asana Khata and to provide its core function of helping users record and manage cash-in and cash-out transactions with people they know.

• Phone number: used as an account identifier and to help connect users who choose to share their numbers.
• Email address: used for account login, account support, security notices, and service communications.
• Display name: used to identify your account within the Application.
• Selected contacts: used to help you find or connect with people you already know.
• Technical and usage information: used for security, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and service improvement.

We do not use your contacts for unrelated advertising or sell them to data brokers.

Before personal information such as your phone number, email address, or selected contacts is uploaded to our server, the Application presents an in-app consent screen. Uploading occurs only after you provide explicit consent.

Storing your account name and phone number is necessary for the account-based features of Asana Khata. If you do not consent to this necessary processing, you will not be able to create an account or use those features.

You may withdraw your consent by deleting your account as described in the Account Deletion section below. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before the withdrawal.

Asana Khata accesses contact information only when you grant permission and only for contacts you explicitly select. You can deny or revoke contact permission through your device settings.

Revoking permission stops future access from the Application, but it does not automatically delete information that you previously chose to upload. You may delete that information by deleting your account or contacting the Service Provider.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may disclose information only in the following limited circumstances:

• When required by applicable law, regulation, court order, or legal process.
• When reasonably necessary to protect users, prevent fraud, maintain security, or protect the rights and property of the Service Provider.
• To trusted service providers that process information on our behalf, only as needed to operate the Application and subject to appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.

Service providers may process information only for the services they provide to Asana Khata and not for their own unrelated purposes.

You can request deletion in either of these ways:

After the request is confirmed, we will delete your account and associated personal information from our active systems within a reasonable period, except information that must be retained where required by applicable law or for legitimate security, fraud prevention, dispute-resolution, or compliance purposes.

Deleting the Application from your device does not by itself delete your server-side account. You must use the in-app deletion option or contact us.

We retain user-provided information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Application. After account deletion, information is deleted within a reasonable period unless limited retention is required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.

Backup copies may remain for a limited period until they are securely overwritten or deleted through normal backup-rotation processes.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including secure transmission practices, access controls, and protected server environments where applicable.

Asana Khata is not directed to children under the age of 13, and the Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information should contact iamceayber@gmail.com.

Subject to applicable law, you may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. You may also:

• Revoke contact permission in your device settings.
• Choose not to upload optional contacts.
• Delete your account from the Application's Settings screen.
• Uninstall the Application to stop future on-device collection.

Some information is necessary for account operation. Refusing or withdrawing consent for necessary information may prevent use of the Application.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the Application when appropriate.

Your continued use of the Application after an updated policy becomes effective means that the updated policy applies to your subsequent use.
